Shed is one of our favourite artists and definitely a no bullshit guy. His discography, including all his different names & projects, will impress you more than his social media appearance. As it should be. We really appreciate that he contributed a mix to our podcast series!
Hello Rene how are you and what have you been up to recently?
I’m doing good! Thanks. It’s all about the summer! Swimming, wasting time at the beach chair, deg the lawn, bother the kids and the neighbours.
You live in the wider area of Berlin. How would you describe the city and music scene there at the moment?
We left the city because of the heat! I can’t tell you what’s going on right now. But we have definitely loads of tourists and loads of DJs! Haha…
What are your thoughts on the current state of electronic music?
To much 707/727/606/808/303/909!
It seems to be we are still in the early 90ies!
But ok – 909 is still good.
What annoys you or has pissed you off lately?
People who was born in the former GDR and start to look back at this state in a romantic way and say: “Actually it wasn’t that bad…” Trapped in the past and fear the future. Result is voting for Nazis!
What excites you besides music?
Family life!
