Hi Adam how are you and what have you been up to recently?
I’ve been traveling a lot this summer… and just wrapped up the new Graze LP with Christian XI.
How is New Kanada going?
Things are going well… we have a record by me coming out in late September, and also a release by a new NK artist called Miajica. Also in the pipeline is an all-ambient compilation from almost all the NK artists, plus some new names, called the Ambient Parks comp. A new string of Graze 12″s are planned for the early winter as well….
You have moved to Berlin some while ago. How do you feel there and what do you think about the scene there?
Apart from the strong musical scene, all my good friends live here… It’s the kind of place that I’m always happy to come home to after travelling. It’s also nice being able to check out almost all the artists I’m interested in almost any weekend if I’m around.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would you choose and why?
Sandro Perri aka Polmo Polpo… because he’s a close friend and a total genius musically.
What annoys you or has pissed you off lately?
My broken UREI mixer. Or my lack of funds to properly fix it.
What excites you besides music?
The random button on wikipedia.
You are gonna play in Munich in September for MCDJ. What is your impression of Munich?
I’ve only been there once, so don’t really have an impression – but looking forward to coming back and playing Kong.
